  I don't see a post for today, so here's a quickie

  Morning! Trying my hand for the first time at setting up a post as I didn’t see one yet. I think I did this right ? Maybe 🤔 …. Yesterday was the not so tiny humans actual birthday. Of course in normal fashion I finished this masterpiece 20 minutes before she got off the bus. It’s Chocolate cake with buttercream icing. We told her about the family trip in August. She’s obviously over the moon and is so excited about EVERYTHING.  And of course because TH never does anything half way, she lost a tooth on her birthday. The “tooth fairy” was beyond generous and left $20. She surprised me tho and put it all into the Cinderella bank she was gifted. I thought she’d want to use it this weekend when we go to the movies with her two friends. I guess the lure of Disney souvenirs is stronger.  TH has a half day today. So basically I’ll blink and it will be time for the bus but now for the question of the day :  What’s your hyper fixation meal currently?  Mine is a Sloppy ...

  I don't see a post scheduled, so here's a quick one.

 I don't see a Wednesday open thread scheduled, so I'm quickly posting this.

 Turn about's fair play; since I missed posting yesterday's open thread, I'll put this one up, since I don't see one scheduled. I forgot to go for my walk this morning, and since I've got my cereal cooking, it's a bit late now. I do have a library book to pick up, so I'll get a little bit of exercise in. My neighbour is currently on my roof finally installing the new gutters on his house. The houses are so close together, and the pitch of his roof is such that there is no other way for him to access that area, unfortunately. Since he's always creative in his solutions, usually to the detriment of my property, I hope he does an okay job. The next issue will be how to keep them clear of debris, since they will be in an awkward location and height. I used my new retainers last night, and was on the verge of calling the dentist to say, "I'm coming down; I can't get the upper off, and I'd like to have some breakfast, so YOU are going to take ...
