  I have a hair appointment early this afternoon, and then I'm hoping to hit a vintage store near my stylist's place. What's everybody else up to?

Gosh it's cold and windy and raw today.  I think it a bit too warm to snow but IDK?  It's above freezing until you factor in the wind chill.  We may do Canada Day with hats and mittens this year.  Yesterday was filled with adulting and it wore me out. I am taking it easy this morning!  Please tell me about what's growing and how you're enjoying your presumably better weather these days. 

  It's supposed to rain all day here, so I guess it will be indoor stuff for me today. How about everybody else?

  Happy Saturday night, y'all! We just finished watching Dust Bunny. It's very good, is very visually interesting, & has a great cast. Pal's gaming for a bit & I'm preparing to attack some snacks, lol. Popcorn for sure, maybe a grilled cheese, too. My dvr runneth over with Bravo content. Should be a nice evening! How's your day been? What's the snack situation? :)

 Good morning and Happy Saturday!  What's going on? I woke up hungry and wishing that room service was bringing a tray.  The concert cruises we've been on have you hang your breakfast selections on the door each night.  At the specified time, my coffee, fruit and pain au chocolat would arrive.  It was lovely.  Sadly, I am neither abroad nor afloat.  The cinnamon toast and Timmie's here aren't half bad though.   I feel a lazy day coming on. I am helping teen nibling by editing her latest short story.  That kid loves descriptive adverbs lol.  Aside from that, I see a whole lot of nothing in my future.  What's your weekend looking like?

  Good morning & happy Friday, groupthink! It's my inaugural spin & I figured we'd stick to the usual plan today. How would you feel about changing up the format? Friday is the second best day of the week & has never been my favorite for venting it out. I'm perfectly okay keeping it that way if you all prefer!  Fuck yeah--we're expecting rain, Pal has band practice, & I get to open a nice bottle of wine at the end of my day & watch movies.  Fuck its for Trump math which doesn't make any sense & would be funny if it was a Veep bit. Now, it's just scary & stupid. That is not how percentages work, my guys! I went to sleep last night with a whole plan for this post & completely deleted it while sleeping. That gets a mini fuck it, lol. Your turn! What's good & what isn't? Any feelings about fuck it Fridays?

  My replacement window is ready at the glass shop, we will pick it up during Morning errands. I have to goto St. Mathews at 1pm to visit the Periodontist, for the first time in a couple of years. Toni will go, she wants to shop at Trader Joe's on the way home, I want to visit Lonnie's Drive-In for some Chicago type fast food. We had a discussion about watching "Margo's got Money Problems". Toni is a bit put off by the sexual content, but I enjoy the Absurdity of her situation, and I like seeing the actors, Michelle and Nick, playing "Adults". We will continue watching. 

  How's the week treating everybody so far? I have my third and final rabies shot today, and I hope it goes as smoothly as the first two, with no side effects.

Shit my mom says and other tales from my visit.  - On pet care:  "You guys all take your dogs to the vet more than I ever took any of you to the doctor.".                              And she thinks that we're the ones in the wrong on this. -In the shower:  "If you do as high up as possible and as low down as possible, I can take care of                                        possible."    I mean...   -On dad's recovery: "He's pushing himself to do too much....   dear, there's no ice in my water cup..." My whole life I was told by mom got that she got pregnant while dad was on emergency leave because "she wanted a daughter".  Apparently, she did not run this one by dad.  A late-night chat about his life revealed that he believes I was an accident. I did nothing...

  Good morning, GT. Happy Sunday! This weekend is flying by and I don't like it. I need another day of rest before heading into a busy work week. Thankfully, tomorrow is the 6th and last day of training I've been attending and I can get back to my usual routine. Every Monday for the last 6 weeks has been torturous. I'll be so happy to be done. On another note, I really need to get better about combing Stormy. Her winter coat is SO thick and the undercoat is never ending. I brushed her for a good 30 minutes yesterday and she is still full of fluff. I ordered a couple different shedding tools because the one I currently have just isn't cutting it.  Anyway, how are y'all doing today? What are you getting up to on this lovely Sunday?

The weekend arrives.  Leisure and snacks for us all Once the chores are done.  What's going on? 

 It's 2am and I've just hung up the last of my laundry.  I've had a couple of rude early morning awakenings this week and now my sleep schedule is all messed up. I will be bedding down in the spare room tonight and sleeping til whatever the fuck o'clock I want to. Fuck yeah.  Fuck yeah to New Jersey for electing a Progressive Dem to the House. How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.  Keep 'em coming.  My fuck its are all here on the homefront today.  Yesterday there was dust up about whisks and then shades for the kitchen.  I swear this man needs to live alone.  IDK what's happened but it's a lot.  I'm here for your fuck its, fuck yeahs and whatever else you've got today!

  Good morning, my friends! We're halfway finished. Congratulations! It's been an easy week around here, but my schedule is full today. The gif reminded me I've recently been sucked into HBO's A24 bowling documentary. I'm surprised & a little disturbed that I kept watching, lol.  My small win has been eating healthier. Pal's vacation didn't count, lol. I'll try & pop in a little later & hope your days go well! What's up?

  What's the plan for today? I have nothing pressing, so I may get to that dusting and sweeping, or may some yard work, if it's not raining.

  Good morning, everyone. Happy Sunday! It's super early and once this post is up I'm going back to sleep because the sleepiness is still lingering and I want to be well rested for brunch. I'm looking forward to eating some yummy food and maybe having a cocktail. It's supposed to rain this morning so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it actually happens.  I'm not great at coming up with fucks- the good ones and the bad ones.  I'll just say Happy Friday. I am headed into town today.  Finn will enjoy the outing, I'm sure. It's a beautifully sunny day.   What's going on?

  Good morning, friends! We made it to the halfway point & that really does hit differently this time. Goodness, shit got crazy. I'd like spend all day hanging out with this cat under some cozy leaves,  lol.  We had a nice dinner with Pal's parents last night. Today is lunch with my uncle, lots of laundry, & knocking out some tax preparation. Our deadline was extended until May bc of the ice storm. Part of me is relieved, but my procrastinating self didn't need that habit reinforced. My small wins are getting out of bed & actually doing all of this stuff because I don't wanna.  How are you? 

  Is everybody back at work after the holiday weekend? I know some people were back yesterday.

 Hello Monday! It’s time to talk about food and movies / books / podcasts / any other media! 

  Good morning, everybody. It’s Easter, so if you celebrate, I hope it’s a good one for you. Whether that means family time, good food, or just a day to yourself like I'm having. I hope you enjoy it! I got back my sleep study results and as expected I do have sleep apnea. It explains the difficulties I have around sleep and feeling tired even after a full nights sleep. I was pretty shocked by just how many times I wake up without realizing it. Today I'll be spending some time looking into CPAP machines and figuring out what the best option is. My dad uses a CPAP so I'll be picking his brain about what he has tried over the years.  Anyway, that does your day look like today? Are you out doing something fun, keeping it low-key, or somewhere in between?

  Hello to the weekend! Are you warrioring, wimping or something in between? I had an espresso martini after 4pm yesterday so I was up until the wee hours.  Today will be about forcing myself to tie up loose ends before tomorrow's holiday brunch.  After that I am hitting the road, dodging snowflakes along the way.  

 Hello Friday!  Happy Friday and Happy Passover to those who celebrate. Here I am still at mom and dad's.  It's snowing and/or icing nearly every day in the shire.  Sigh... It looks like I may be able to head home on Monday.  That's a fuck it and a fuck yeah.   Fuck fuel prices.  This drive home is going to be pricey!  I got 17 gallons the other day for 100 bucks.  They're going to need defibrillators at the pumps if things keep going up.  It's painful.  Fuck yeah to Bondi getting the boot-- not that we're getting an acceptable replacement. I do get a sick sense of satisfaction seeing that ilk get knocked down a peg or two though.  Later today my sister and I are going out drinking. Two good catholic girls getting blitzed on Good Friday lol.  What's going on?

  Good morning, groupthink! It is Wednesday & Pal's vacation has been a little too fun so far. We need to be responsible humans today & will probably do that. Our yard is a mess & needs us! I have lunch with my uncle, too. Dinner is going to be some combination of mushrooms & carbs. Maybe some mushrooms & scrambled eggs on toast. I've been on a kick lately.  It also small wins Wednesday! Mine is getting out of my reading slump & finally finishing a book. Huzzah!  How's your day looking?
